Skin Conditions: Eczema & Pityriasis
Mary has 62 years of experience. At the age of 6, Mary began watching her mother and grandmother as they made their preparations. At age fourteen, Mary invented creams for acne, rosacea, and psoriasis. Mary came from the communist controlled regime of Romania in the 1990's and came to Canada being over sixty years of age. She did not speak English, had no money and had no help. Mary extensive experience in skin care and the treatment of skin condition has make for the development of day and night creams for eczema and the pityriasis for the face and for the body. The cream does not contain preservatives or perfumes. It has to be refrigerated. The night cream for eczema and pityriasis, the name is Agutama (meaning help me), in addition Mary develop body and facial soup this is sulfur free (because the sulfur irritate the skin). Skin Conditions: Eczema & Pityriasis

Eczema can be divided into various categories. One form, dermatitis eczema may manifest itself in three different ways. There is also degenerative eczema, which results from contact with toxic substances (these are fewer in number). In turn, dermatitis eczema can be caused by allergies. Allergies may result from a reaction to irritant substances, such as keratin, alkaline, soaps that dissolve grease (organic solvents dehydrate the skin), acids and alcohol which promote whiteheads (hard bumps). These substances act on the acidic mantle and the hydrolipid film of the epidermis, seriously impairing their protective function to the skin. Therefore, through an allergenic agent that provokes eczema (dermatitis, also called contact eczema of an allergic origin); even the smallest quantity of an antigen substance can give rise to an antigen-antibody conflict resulting in the appearance of an intense irritation (redness).

Irritating products, regardless of their intended effects, produce similar results. First, redness becomes apparent, followed by a swelling that may spread and may be accompanied by pain, stinging or itchiness. Some may even experience blisters (small blisters of clear liquid) or pustules (small puss- filled blisters) depending on the sensitivity of their skin. For these persons, the skin may develop ulcers, which are especially aggravated by irritant substances (this is also known as pityriasis). Of the different types of eruptions that occur with eczema, there exists eczema that is dry, crusty or aggravated by the sun. It can occur at the hairline or at flexion points on the arms. Affected persons may have an eruption of herpes (herpes cold sores which develop on the lip). There are other forms of eczema; eczema with fissures (similar to dry eczema) and eczema evidenced by small blisters filled with clear liquid, which causes a burning sensation usually in the hairline, behind the ears, lip area, back of the hands and in the genitalanal area. This type of eczema is called pityriasis.

The type of eczema accompanied by herpes appears most often in winter and is aggravated by the cold. In the summer it disappears or withdraws from the skin, only to suddenly reappear at the provocation of certain foods or cosmetic creams. Unpleasant swelling secretions and blisters may result, especially after being in the warmth of your bed or a warm bath. At this time, it is recommended that people quickly wash the affected area with their urine.

When blisters are present, do not apply creams whatsoever; wash with your urine only, until the blisters disappear.

Causes of Eczema
Cosmetic substances can be classified into two categories, irritant and allergenic. In persons with a tendency toward allergy, contact eczema provoked by cosmetics has the appearance of common eczema and may be set off by other allergens such as food, medicine, etc. Many people today do not understand this. Without precedent, industrialization has given way to the mass production of an array of consumer products. Today, cosmetic products as well as food products contain an alarmingly high level of chemicals. Indeed, virtually all foods including fruits and vegetables have been highly exposed to synthetic chemicals. Of all food products popularly consumed today, those with artificial yellow colouring are the most dangerous as they contains many preservatives and chemicals. Also, many products today contain synthetic hormones. There are many instances of accidents that result from using cosmetic creams containing such hormones. Unless instructed to do so by a medical specialist, these creams when applied frequently can provoke serious hormonal imbalance. The natural hormones produced by the body's endocrine glands have their own specific role and should never be duplicated for use in cosmetic creams.

In many countries, chemists may prepare different types of creams using high quality ingredients. But because they are not properly controlled, they may at the same time use chemicals such as alkalines, soaps and fatty acids, and mix them with volatile oils. These products are promoted as being natural, but can actually be quite harmful.

Please be careful of the following items: volatile oils derived from bergamot, citrus, iris and carnation, perfumes, coloured perfumes, lipsticks (eosine and rhodamine colouring which cause sensitivity)

Cosmetic products may be nicely packaged or smell good, but their possible irritating effects can be dangerous for the sensitive skinned person. Often, after one has developed an allergic reaction, they seek medical help and are prescribed drugs that contain even more harmful chemicals and thus aggravating their condition. Besides the lesion due to eczema, other signs of an allergy to cosmetic products may begin to make themselves apparent. Also, when these products come into contact with the sun, they cause disaster! Underneath the epidermis, they provoke small lesions, invisible to the eye and attack the capillary vessels. In 2-3 days (after only three hours for sensitive people), small red round patches and blemishes appear and an odd sensation or cold may felt underneath the skin. What follows is the same as described above.

Nutrition is another factor that causes eczema, particularly food products such as junk food. Also, foods that are strongly acidic can cause havoc when coming in contact with chemicals and may attack the nervous system. It is then that one experiences the warning signs of trouble; you can't sleep, you become agitated, etc; and nervous-system illnesses may then develop. The chemicals in some case of the above mentioned foods are dangerous and I would not recommend them to anyone. Volatile oils are dangerous to someone suffering from any type of eczema. Volatile oils have the following properties. Herbaceous substances of vegetable origin, which often contain nitrogen molecules, react with alkali and are gifted with strong properties such as pharmacodamine. This substance may occur in small traces in the sub-terrain part of the earth. These volatile oils extracted from different plant families are very dangerous for the skin.
